Retail Assistant - Garden Centre PART TIME

The Steam & Moorland Garden Centre is looking for a confident, organised and friendly Retail Assistant.  Everyone at the Steam & Moorland takes pride in what they do and this role will allow you to use your own initiative, in a fun and engaging team environment.   While you will be working predominantly face to face with customers, you will also take customer queries over the phone.

Your role will include merchandising, organising and developing a section of the Garden Centre (pets, garden furniture, giftware, food etc)  assisting Customers with larger purchases such as garden furniture and greenhouses during the Spring and Summer season. 

This role would ideally suit someone who is creative, enjoys merchandising, is organised and has excellent customer service skills. Experience within the retail industry would be helpful but not necessary as product training will be given.

We are looking for someone who can work at least 18 hours a week over three/four days, one of which would be a weekend day. 

We support flexible working particularly for people who have caring responsibilities for children and elderly relatives.
