Retail Assistant - Garden Centre

The Steam & Moorland Garden Centre is looking for a confident and friendly Retail Assistant. While you will be working predominantly face to face with customers, you will also take customer queries over the phone.

Everyone at the Steam & Moorland takes pride in what they do and this role will allow you to use your own initiative, in a fun and engaging team environment. Your role will include merchandising, assisting customers with larger purchases such as greenhouses and garden furniture and taking payment for goods at the tills.

This role would ideally suit someone who is creative, enjoys merchandising and has excellent customer service skills. Experience within the retail industry would be helpful but not necessary as product training will be given.

We are looking for someone who can work at least 18 hours a week over three days, one of which would be a weekend day. The hours are family friendly in that we can accommodate applicants who may have school drop off and pick up responsibilities.
