Love Plants ?

 

Do you love plants? Steam & Moorland Garden Centre have an expanding plant area and are looking for someone who loves plants to work within our plant team; ensuring our plant stock meets our high standards at all times and helping customers locate specific plants.

This role would suit all ages and abilities; including those who have retired from other careers. We will also consider students looking for seasonal work.

 

The role will involve;

• Maintaining our stock to ensure the highest quality of plants
• Receiving plant deliveries and re-stocking our outdoor benches
• Offering helpful advice on plant choice and plant care
• Working with others in the plant team to maintain the outdoor areas
• Working indoors in the shop when required

 

This role is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about gardening and has a basic knowledge of plants.

Enthusiasm and customer-focus are key attributes for this role as you will be working as part of a team.

Working between 6 and 8 hours per day with a half hour for lunch. You will be required to work one weekend day each week.

This role could be part time or full time. We would require a minimum of 3 days per week.
