Horticultural Technician - Robotic Mowers

We are expanding our Horticultural Workshop Team and are looking for a mechanically minded person to work with our existing team maintaining our range of lawnmowers but with specific emphasis on Robotic Mowers.   This is an opportunity to work on the cutting edge of technology, installing, servicing and maintaining a range of  Robotic mowers both wired and GPS driven.   If you have an interest in technology, and are a good problem solver with an analytical mind, this is the role for you.

You would be working with our team of technicians and your duties would include:

• Providing advice to Customer in the shop
• Planning for and installing robotic mowers 
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing mowers in the workshop
• Completing certain admin functions 

During the Spring and Summer you will be predominantly advising on the purchase of  Gardening Equipment, repairing all types of garden and Forestry equipment and  installing Robotic Mowers in beautiful gardens. The Winter is given over to working with our team on repairs and maintenance in the workshop.

This position would ideally suit someone who is interested in repairing machinery and also enjoys the variety of working in the outdoors during the spring and summer months.   You do NOT need to be a qualified mechanic for this role as good communication skills and an ability to solve problems is just as important. Full training on Automatic mowers will be given and and you will be supported in developing your skills to enable you to pick up other aspects of the role.

We are ideally looking for someone who is available five days a week but we would consider an applicant who can work 4 days a week.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with existing skills and experience.
