Christmas & New Year Opening Hours at Steam & Moorland Garden Centre

The days between Christmas and New Year have a habit of blurring together. Once the festivities settle and the house needs a breather, many people look for an excuse to step outside, stretch their legs, and enjoy a change of scenery. A visit to the garden centre often becomes the perfect solution.

With that in mind, here are our opening hours for the festive period so you can plan your visit—whether you're escaping the post-Christmas lull or simply in need of a warm drink made by someone else!

 

Festive Opening Hours 2025/2026

• Tuesday 23rd December: Open until 4pm
• Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve): Open until 4pm
• Thursday 25th December (Christmas Day): Closed
• Friday 26th December (Boxing Day): Open 10am–4pm*
• Saturday 27th December: Open until 4pm
• Sunday 28th December: Open until 5pm
• Monday 29th December: Open until 4pm
• Tuesday 30th December: Open until 4pm
• Wednesday 31st December (New Year’s Eve): Closed
• Thursday 1st January 2026 (New Year’s Day): Closed
• Friday 2nd January 2026: Open until 4pm

*Please note: the Machinery Centre will be closed on Boxing Day.
