Santa’s Coming to Steam & Moorland Garden Centre

Father Christmas is returning to Pickering, and we’re delighted to welcome him back to Steam & Moorland Garden Centre for three festive Saturdays. If you're looking for a seasonal day out that feels traditional, charming, and full of genuine Christmas spirit, this is the perfect opportunity.

 

When You Can See Santa

Santa will be joining us on:

• Saturday 29th November 2025
• Saturday 6th December 2025
• Saturday 13th December 2025

11am–2pm each day

As always, a visit to Santa is free of charge at Steam & Moorland. Children can meet him in his cosy grotto and will receive complementary sweets—a small treat to start the season with a smile!

 

Don't Forget Your Little One's Letter For Santa

Rumour has it the elves have given Santa strict instructions:

“Don’t come back to the North Pole without a good bundle of letters.”

If your child has something important to ask, share, or sketch, make sure they bring it along. Santa will be taking every letter home to his workshop.

 

A Garden Centre Transformed

From the end of November, Steam and Moorland undergoes its annual transformation with festive garlands, Christmas fairy lights, and Christmas trees twinkling from almost every corner.
