Internet/Webshop Product Administrator

Steam & Moorland Garden Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and approachable individual with a positive outlook to join our friendly Garden and Machinery team working on the ongoing development of our web shop. This is a high profile position within our organisation and we are keen that the person who takes on this role will succeed.  We will therefore provide skills training and continual guidance in managing our website.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative and attentive to detail, as you will be listing products on our web site and assisting the various Managers with internet sales and answering customer queries.

It would be an advantage if you had previous experience in an Admin role, a knowledge of creating/administering web sites as well as a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities would include: -

• Liaising with the Department Managers to identify products to be listed on the website
• Assistance with listing items for sale; acquiring images, uploading product descriptions to the web site
• Monitoring and adjusting prices in conjunction with the Department Managers
• Handling Departmental and Customer queries
• Providing assistance to departments to ensure smooth operations
• Assisting with SEO activities to ensure that products are effectively position in the various search engines.
• Helping with general IT tasks throughout the organisation
