The Husqvarna 540 EPOS® is a robust wire-free robotic mower engineered for efficient, professional lawn care on larger green spaces up to 8,000m². With flexible satellite-based EPOS® navigation and selectable mowing patterns, you’ll enjoy systematic and customisable mowing without the need for perimeter wires. Installation is easy and reliable across commercial settings such as parks, campuses, and corporate grounds.

Requirements

• The Automower® Connect app. Available for FREE on the App Store and Google Play.
• For independence and best accuracy, you can purchase a Husqvarna EPOS® RS5 4G Reference Station, but if your site has good mobile phone or Wi-Fi internet coverage, this is not necessary, as correction data is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no extra cost.

Everything starts in the Automower® Connect app, where you create individual and customisable work areas, along with temporary stay-out zones. These can be easily adjusted later to suit garden projects or changes to your lawn’s layout throughout the season.

The in-built camera utilises advanced AI to detect and identify objects on the lawn and acts accordingly based on the type of object it is. Thanks to infrared light, the lawn mower avoids obstacles, considers wildlife, and ensures full lawn coverage even at night. Since AI vision technology combines with satellite navigation, full lawn coverage is also ensured in areas with weak satellite signals.

The selectable mowing patterns feature enables you to choose from a striped, checkerboard or triangle pattern on your lawn, and gives an area capacity of 8,000m². Or, for a carpet-like finish, choose the irregular pattern mode, which offers a 6,000m² area capacity.

How does the satellite technology work?

To achieve centimetre-level accuracy, the mower receives correction data via Husqvarna Cloud at no extra cost. This requires cellular or Wi-Fi coverage over the entire working area and offers excellent position accuracy, typically better than 5 cm. If you do not have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, you can purchase a Husqvarna EPOS® RS5 4G Reference Station as an additional accessory. This is a stand-alone solution that requires no internet connection and provides even higher mower position accuracy.
