Raising plants into better light improves airflow and access, while keeping them away from cold floors, standing water, and pests. The folding design allows the shelves to be used heavily during sowing and propagation, then folded down to create open vertical space as larger plants take over. In an 8ft-wide greenhouse, this flexibility supports wide-bed layouts, multiple growing zones, and seasonal changes without locking you into fixed benching.
