The Halls Modular Folding Shelving for the ICON 8 8x12 is supplied only at the point of greenhouse purchase, allowing you to design vertical growing space, organised storage and clear working areas into the layout from day one. Rather than adding freestanding shelving later, this system integrates directly with the ICON frame, using the full height and wall length of the greenhouse to create elevated growing zones without reducing the wide, open floor area.

This makes it ideal for propagation, seed trays, plug plants, herbs and daily handling—keeping lighter plants in better light and airflow while protecting them from cold floors, standing water and pests. At the same time, the floor remains available for grow bags, staging, tall crops and unrestricted access, which is especially important in a large-format 8ft-wide greenhouse.

Because the shelving is modular and folding, it adapts as your growing cycle changes. During propagation-heavy periods it provides long, continuous shelf runs for trays and small pots. As plants mature, the shelves fold down to open up vertical space for tomatoes, climbing crops, hanging baskets or seasonal re-layout without dismantling hardware or committing to fixed benching.

Finished in black powder-coated metal, the slatted shelves are designed for damp greenhouse conditions. They allow light to pass through and excess water to drain away, improving airflow and reducing condensation, mould and waterlogging, while remaining easy to wipe clean between growing cycles.
