The Husqvarna 542iXP is a professional battery chainsaw engineered to deliver the responsiveness and cutting feel of a petrol saw, without the noise, fumes or maintenance. Designed for demanding tree work, it combines high chain speed, instant throttle response and a centrifugal clutch for unmatched control through every cut.
With a chain speed of up to 24 m/s and a powerful 36V brushless motor, it delivers fast, smooth cutting performance for felling, limbing and precision work. The unique clutch system provides a “petrol-like” bite, giving you instant restart mid-cut and reducing the risk of the chain stalling under load.
Built for professional use in all conditions, the 542iXP features IPX4 weatherproofing, intuitive controls and low maintenance operation. The lightweight, well-balanced design supports all-day use, while savE™ mode extends runtime when full power isn’t required.
Please note that this chainsaw is unit-only, and a battery and charger must be purchased separately. For homeowners, we recommend the 40-B220X and QC330 charger. Where the chainsaw is used for demanding, professional work, pairing it with the 40-B3330X and QC330 charger ensures excellent performance.
