Wire-free robotic mower with edge-cutting performance for lawns up to 1500m²

The Husqvarna Automower 310E NERA is a wire-free robotic lawn mower designed for larger gardens up to 1500m² and supplied with the Husqvarna EPOS™ Plug-In. Using satellite-based technology instead of perimeter wires, mowing areas are defined digitally, while the EdgeCut feature helps reduce the amount of manual trimming required around lawn edges.

EPOS virtual boundaries allow for a cleaner, more adaptable installation compared to traditional wired systems. Setup and ongoing adjustments are managed through the Automower Connect app, provided Wi-Fi coverage is available across the full lawn area.

Requirements:

• Wi-Fi internet coverage across the entire lawn area is required for EPOS operation. Coverage can be checked easily, with solutions available if signal strength is limited.
• The Automower Connect app, available free on the App Store and Google Play.

Within the Automower Connect app, you can create multiple work areas and temporary stay-out zones using EPOS virtual boundaries. These can be adjusted at any time, making it easy to adapt mowing schedules around garden projects or changes to your lawn layout.

Selectable mowing patterns allow you to choose between striped, checkerboard or triangle finishes, supporting areas up to 1500m². For a more uniform, carpet-style appearance, an irregular pattern mode is also available, suitable for lawns up to 1000m².

How does the satellite-based system work?

The EPOS system delivers high-precision positioning by combining satellite navigation with correction data from the Husqvarna Cloud, provided at no additional cost. With sufficient Wi-Fi coverage, this allows the mower to operate with positioning accuracy typically within 5cm.

Where Wi-Fi coverage is limited, signal strength can often be improved using a Wi-Fi extender or mesh system. Alternative options include accessories such as the Automower Connect kit for cellular connectivity, or the Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station, which enables internet-free operation with even greater positional accuracy. Installation of these accessories must be carried out by an authorised Husqvarna dealer.
