Professional installation is available when you purchase an Icon planthouse from Steam & Moorland Garden Centre, Malton Road, Pickering, North Yorkshire. We recommend this service to ensure correct, safe assembly and to avoid issues with alignment, stability or incorrect fitting.
Installation includes full assembly of the planthouse and base, plus fitting of downpipes, autovents, louvres, roof vents, water butts, and cresting.
Installation coverage
Installation is available across England and Wales. Eligible postcode areas are shown in green on the map. Areas shown in white are not currently covered.
Central London may incur a surcharge. Installation is not available in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Islands or allotment sites.
Installation timeframe and requirements
Installation is typically completed within 14 days of delivery, subject to seasonal demand.
Pre-installation requirements:
- A flat, level and fully prepared base must be in place and free from obstructions
- The correct base must be ordered unless an integrated base is included
- Clear access is required around all sides of the planthouse
- All components must be checked within 72 hours of delivery
- Any issues must be reported to customer services on 01242 676625 before installation

Delivery
For most items on the website, there is free delivery when you spend over £50. However for certain large or heavy items there will be a delivery charge incurred at the time of purchase.
